Course Objectives:

To acquaint students with an overview of international company operations, the environments in which international business occurs, and the effects of international business on the objectives of nation states.

International Business: Environment and Operations by John D. Daniels & Lee H. Radebaug (Addison and Wesley, 9th Edition)

Relationship Between Text and Class Presentations:

1.        The class presentations are designed to complement the text providing additional materials.

2.        Videotapes will be used to illustrate international business cases and the environment.

Examinations:

There will be four exams, each worth one-fourth of the final grade. Each exam will consist of multiple-choice questions. All exams will be designed to require the student to synthesize the information that will be presented in the class lectures, on films and in reading assignments.  Only students who have verifiable excuses,  that are acceptable to the instructor,  will be allowed to make up exams.
